Welcome to Guerrilla Gardeners Standish Website.
My mission (so far there’s only me but volunteers are welcome!) is to improve the surrounding area by planting, tidying and generally improving area. The reason I do it is simply because I can, it’s good for the soul and more importantly it could/should cheer people up.
Although I’m independent I’m proud to be affiliated to www.guerrillagardening.org - The Community is the live hub of GuerrillaGardening.org, a place where guerrillas from around the world are beginning to meet, plot and get planting.
I’m happy for people to join us, either formally through this website of just by making a difference on a plot near you. If you do get your self moving and you do make headway join guerrillagardening.org, or if your project is in Standish send me an email and I’ll post your project here.
Six months on - I’ve achieved quite a bit and had fun doing it you can see the changes and the progress in the Project Diary starting with the most recent news first.
